Welcome to Haustreis farm
The farm was built in 1752 and is located in the municipality of Grane, near the administrative centre of Trofors.
Our cabin by Lake Langtjønna is available to rent all year round. The area is home to lynx, moose and bear. If you are lucky you may also see eagles hovering over the water or spot birds such as ducks and snipes. There is no better place to find peace and be at harmony with nature. Leave your computer and mobile at home, but do not forget to bring your fishing rod and camera! Also make sure that you bring appropriate clothing – temperatures can drop to -25°C in winter.

For whom is it suitable?
Anyone who enjoys hiking and trekking – great for families, kids or even solo travellers.
The cabin is a one-hour walk away at a leisurely pace.
You can also rent a lavvu (a traditional Sami tent).
(Wake up to the sound of birdsong, go swimming before breakfast in the clear water of a secluded lake. Cook your bacon and eggs over an open fire while you plan your day, or just laze it away in the peace and quiet of your own lavvu . You can always go fishing tomorrow, and walk along the cliffs the day after that....... ;))
